Before you start a domain transfer to Noiseyard, get these ready at your current domain provider. Having them on hand makes the transfer quick and smooth.
Unlock the domain. Turn off the domain lock (sometimes called registrar lock or transfer lock) in your current provider’s domain settings.
Get your transfer code. Copy your EPP code (also called the Authorization code or transfer code). If you cannot find it, ask your current provider’s support to send it to you.
Turn off privacy protection. If your domain has WHOIS privacy turned on, switch it off for now, as it can block a transfer.
Check your contact email. Make sure the email address on the domain is one you can open, since you may get a message asking you to approve the transfer.
Check the domain is eligible. Most domains can be transferred only if they were registered, or last transferred, more than 60 days ago, and are not about to expire.
Once you have your EPP code and the domain is unlocked, email support@noiseyard.com and we will take it from there.
