After your website goes live, you’ll have the option to change your website address (domain name) and connect your own domain.
Go to Domain Settings from your Control Panel.
Click the “Connect an existing domain name” button.
You’ll be taken to a page with instructions on how to update either your nameservers or your DNS records. This step is essential for successfully connecting your domain.
Please follow the instructions in Step 1 on that page.
In Step 2, enter the domain name you want to connect to your Noiseyard website. If you’ve already entered your domain and clicked “Connect Domain” before, you don’t need to repeat this step or the ones below.
When you’re ready, click “Connect Domain”.
Confirm your selection by clicking “Confirm Domain Name” button from the modal.
If you entered an incorrect domain name, you’ll get a “Domain name cannot be found.” message. Please make sure you entered the correct domain name.
When you enter the correct domain name, we'll handle the necessary changes on our end to connect your domain.
These changes may take up to 24 hours to fully take effect, but they usually happen much faster.

Important notes
Domains bought from Wix
If you’re connecting a domain you bought from Wix: unlike most registrars, Wix does not allow changing nameservers. That means you’ll need to connect your Wix domain to Noiseyard by editing DNS records instead.

SSL certificate
Once your domain is connected, we’ll automatically issue an SSL certificate for it. While installation may take up to 24 hours, it usually happens much faster. When the certificate is active, you’ll see “https://” and a padlock icon in the address bar, indicating that your site is secure.
If your website isn’t loading
If your website still isn’t loading 24 hours after you update your nameservers or DNS records, please contact our support team: support@noiseyard.com
