Noiseyard Help

Unlike most registrars, Wix does not allow changing nameservers. That means you’ll need to connect your Wix domain to Noiseyard by editing DNS records instead.

Follow these steps to connect the domain name you bought from Wix to your Noiseyard website:

1. Go to Domains in your Wix account.

2. Click the Domain Actions icon  next to the relevant domain.

3. Select Manage DNS Records. 

4. Edit your CNAME records:

   • Host Name: www

   • Value: yourdomain.com

   • Make sure there are no A or AAAA records for www

5. Click Save Changes in the pop-up.

6. Edit your A records:

   • Host Name: leave blank

   • Type: A

   • Value: 159.203.148.118

7. Click Save Changes in the pop-up.

Please note that:

• Do not delete your MX or TXT records. Those handle email and domain verification.

• Any changes to the A/CNAME records can take up to 48 hours to complete.

• You can track progress at whatsmydns.net by checking:

  • A record for yourdomain.com → should show 159.203.148.118

  • CNAME record for www.yourdomain.com → should show yourdomain.com

• Once DNS resolves, SSL will be issued automatically on our side and your site will load over HTTPS.
