Yes. If you already own a domain name somewhere else, you can bring it to your Noiseyard website. There are two ways to do it, and the right one depends on whether you want to keep your domain where it is or move it to us.
Connect it. Your domain stays registered with your current provider, and you simply point it at your Noiseyard site. Best when you want to keep managing the domain where it already lives.
Transfer it. The domain’s registration moves to Noiseyard, we manage the yearly renewal for you, and we point it at your site. Best when you are leaving your current provider and want everything in one place.
Domain transfers are handled by our support team. When you are ready, email support@noiseyard.com and we will guide you through every step.
Please note that:
Most domains can be transferred only if they were registered, or last transferred, more than 60 days ago. This is a standard domain rule, not a Noiseyard one.
Your site stays live the whole time. Nothing goes offline while a transfer is in progress.
