Any questions?
Go ahead and send us an e-mail explaining what you need help with - setup, design, sales tools, or anything else.
We reply fast and aim to get back to you within one business day with clear, hands-on help.
Transferring your domain to Noiseyard moves its registration to us, so we manage the yearly renewal and point it straight at your site. Our support team runs the transfer with you. Follow these steps in order, especially the last one.
Unlock the domain in your current provider’s domain settings. Look for the domain lock (also called registrar lock or transfer lock) and turn it off. If you cannot find it, ask your current provider to unlock it for you.
Get your EPP code (also called the Authorization code or transfer code) from the same settings. While you are there, turn off any privacy protection, and make sure the contact email on the domain is one you can open.
Send us the details. Email support@noiseyard.com with your domain name, your EPP code, and a note that the domain is unlocked. We will start the transfer right away.
Approve the transfer. You may get one email asking you to confirm. Approving it speeds things up.
Keep your old account open until it is done. Do not close your current provider account until we confirm the transfer is complete and your site is live on the new domain. Closing it too early can cancel the transfer.
You do not need to change any DNS or nameserver settings yourself. Once the domain reaches us, we point it at your Noiseyard site for you.
Please note that:
A transfer includes one year of registration for your domain, so your domain stays paid up for the year ahead.
Your site stays live the whole time. We will email you the moment the transfer is complete.
If you use email on your domain, tell us first so we can keep it working. See: Will my email keep working when I transfer my domain to Noiseyard?
