Before you rely on an automated email, you can send a test copy to your own inbox and see exactly how it looks.
To send a test copy:
Open the email in Control Panel, then Newsletter, then Automated Mails.
Scroll down to the Test Your Mail section.
Enter the address you want the test sent to. Your account email is already filled in for you.
Click Send Preview.
The test uses sample details in place of the tags, such as a sample name, release, order, and download code, so you can see the finished look. It is sent with your own sending setup, just like a real send.
Please note that:
Save your changes first. The test sends the version you are editing right now, so saving makes sure your live emails match what you tested.
A test never creates a real download code. If your email has a Download Code tag, the test shows a sample code in its place.
