You can bring your whole mailing list into Noiseyard from a CSV file. Upload the file, match your columns, and your subscribers are added.
A CSV file is a simple spreadsheet file. Most mailing tools and spreadsheet apps can export one. This is the fastest way to move a list you already have.
To import your list:
Go to Newsletter, then Member List.
Click Add Members, then Import from CSV.
Choose your CSV file.
Match each column in your file to a Noiseyard field. Email is required. Name and the location columns (City, Region, Country) are optional.
Click Confirm to finish.
What happens when you import:
Everyone is added as a confirmed subscriber. We do not send them a confirmation email, because they opted in with you already.
Duplicate emails are skipped, so you can import again without adding the same person twice.
If you include a city, we look it up and add a location, so you can filter your list by place later.
The importer works with common export formats, including files that use commas, semicolons, or tabs. Very large lists can take a few minutes, so keep the tab open until it finishes. A city we cannot match is simply left blank, and that member still imports.
You need a verified domain:
Importing members requires your own verified sending domain, the same as adding a member by hand. If you see a message about verifying your domain, set that up first.
