Messages from your website's contact forms go to your Noiseyard email, the address you sign in with. If you have a Noiseyard mailbox, you can have them arrive in your mailbox instead. The setting is the same for both contact forms on your website: the one on your Contact page and the one on your EPK page.
To choose where they go:
Go to your Control Panel, then Site Management, then Contact Messages.
Under Send contact messages to, pick your Noiseyard email or your mailbox.
Click Apply.
The change works right away on your live website. You do not need to publish anything.
You can also open these settings in the website editor. On your Contact page, open Contents Overview, click the Contact Form row, then click Contact message settings. On your EPK page, you find it in the Contact Form section, under Form Settings.
If you do not have a mailbox yet
The mailbox choice stays greyed out until you have a Noiseyard mailbox and it is active. To add one, go to your Control Panel, then Site Management, then Mailbox.
If your mailbox cannot receive mail
If your mailbox stops receiving mail for a while, for example when it is full or after your plan ends, your contact messages go to your Noiseyard email instead, so no message is lost. When your mailbox works again, they go back to it.
The confirmation email
Switch on Confirmation email on the same page to send people an email saying that their message was received. It goes out for both contact forms. To change its words, go to your Control Panel, then Newsletter, then Automated Mails, and open the Contact Message Auto-Reply.
The email address shown on your page
Your Contact page and your EPK page can also show an email address that visitors can write to. This is a separate choice. Under , pick your Noiseyard email, your mailbox address, or to type a different one. Until you pick one, your page shows the address you chose in Contact Messages.
On your Contact page, switch on Show email address in Page Overview, then open Contents Overview and click the Displayed Email Address row. On your EPK page, switch on Show email address in the Contact Form section, under Core Details. Then publish your website to make your choice live.
If your page shows your mailbox address and your mailbox cannot receive mail, the address is hidden from your page until your mailbox works again.
