Each payment a crew member makes adds 10% of it (before tax) to your rewards. A reward becomes available 30 days later. Right after your next renewal is charged, we refund your available rewards to the card you paid with. If you have enough rewards, the whole renewal comes back.
The Your Crew page shows where your rewards are:
Available rewards: rewards that come off your next renewal.
Pending rewards: rewards from payments made in the last 30 days.
Refunded so far: rewards already refunded to you.
When your renewal is charged, we refund your available rewards, up to the amount of that payment. Anything left waits for the renewal after that.
Please note that:
You earn rewards for as long as your crew member stays subscribed, including after they change their tier.
Rewards are not used on the charge for a tier change, for adding a mailbox, or for ending your free trial early. They wait for your next regular payment.
If a crew member's payment is refunded, the reward from that payment is taken back. If it was already refunded to you, your next rewards cover it first.
If a crew member moves to a cheaper plan, the unused part of their old plan becomes credit on their account. The reward from that part is taken back, and you earn it again as the credit pays for their plan, or when their account is closed.
If your own payment is covered by credit, your rewards wait for your next card payment.
Rewards wait while your plan is paused or has ended, and they come off your first payment when you subscribe again. When an account is deleted, three months after its plan ends, its unused rewards go with it.
Rewards are never paid out as cash. Only your own Noiseyard payments can use them.
