Right after your first payment. Checkout charges the full price, then we refund 20% of the plan price to the card you paid with, or 5% if you chose an annual plan. You do not need to do anything.
Your first payment is taken when your free trial ends, or earlier if you end the trial yourself, for example to register a custom domain. We send the refund within minutes of that payment. Your bank can take up to 10 days to show it.
The discount is worked out on the price before tax. For example, on Tier 2 monthly ($15.90 before tax) you get $3.18 back.
To check it, go to your Control Panel, then Account, then Your Plan & Payment. In Billing History that payment reads Partially refunded, with the refunded amount under the total.
Please note that:
The discount is given once, on your first payment. Your later payments are the regular price.
Payments to Noiseyard are processed by Lemon Squeezy, so the refund may show under that name on your statement.
If you still do not see it after 10 days, write to support@noiseyard.com.
