To add Meta Pixel to your Noiseyard website:
Go to Meta Events Manager and log in to your Meta account.
In the top-right business portfolio menu, check whether you already have a business portfolio and select it if you do.
Open the Datasets tab and check whether you already have a dataset there.
If you already have both a business portfolio and a dataset, skip to step 13 below.
If you do not have a business portfolio yet, or if you do not see a dataset in the Datasets tab, go to Meta Business Suite.
From the top-left menu, create a business portfolio if you do not already have one.
Meta may ask you to add assets or people to the business portfolio. You can skip those steps if you want.
In Meta Business Suite, click Settings from the bottom left.
Go to Data Sources → Datasets & Pixels
Click Add.
Name your dataset, for example, “Noiseyard website”, and create it. If it does not appear right away, refresh the page.
Open Events Manager again.
If you do not see it right away, click All tools in Meta Business Suite, then choose Events Manager under Advertise.
Click Connect Data and choose .
Select the dataset you want to use and continue.
When Meta asks how you want to set it up, choose Set up manually.
Under How do you want to connect your website?, choose Meta Pixel Only.
Copy the entire Pixel code provided by Meta and continue.
You do not need to add events manually. Your Pixel will be tracking these events on your Noiseyard website:
- Every page view
- Add to cart
- Purchase
- Contact
- Donate (via the Tip Jar)
- Subscribe (subscriptions to your Noiseyard mailing list)
Go to your Noiseyard Control Panel.
Click the Stats & Tracking button.
Select Meta Pixel under the Selected Content dropdown menu.
Paste your Meta Pixel code into the Meta Pixel Code field.
Select Yes under Activate Meta Pixel.
Save your settings.
To test if your Pixel is working correctly:
Select the data source you connected to your Noiseyard website from Data Sources.
Go to Test Events tab.
Click on "Confirm your website’s events are set up correctly".
Enter your website URL to the text field and click on Test Events.
Go to your website and accept cookies from the cookie consent modal.
The events should appear under Events Received within 24 hours. If there is an issue, it will be noted in your Diagnostics.
When you activate Meta Pixel on your website, Noiseyard will automatically enable a cookie consent banner and display a Privacy Policy on your site to ensure compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and other data protection laws.
This banner will ask visitors for their consent before any tracking occurs, and the Privacy Policy will clearly state that Meta (Facebook) may collect user data.
Noiseyard does not store or process this tracking data; it is sent directly to Meta.
Please note that:
We cannot modify or provide support for external code or a pixel ID. If you have questions about the pixel code, please contact Meta Support.
