How do I add Meta Pixel to my website?

To add Meta Pixel to your Noiseyard website:

  1. Go to your Meta Business Suite (Facebook Business). https://www.facebook.com/business/

  2. Navigate to the "Events Manager" section.

  3. Click "Connect Data Sources" and choose "Web."

  4. Create a new dataset. Uncheck "Request a free Conversions API Gateway demo...", and click "Next".

  5. Select "Set up manually" under "Choose how to connect your website".

  6. Select "Meta pixel only" under "How do you want to connect your website?"

  7. Copy the entire Pixel code provided and click on Continue.

  8. Toggle off "Turn on automatic advanced matching" and click on Continue.

  9. You do not need to add any events from Add Events. Your Pixel will be tracking these events:

    • Every page view

    • Add to cart

    • Purchase

    • Contact

    • Donate (Via the Tip Jar)

    • Subscribe (Subscriptions to your Noiseyard mailing list)

  10. Go to your Noiseyard Control Panel.

  11. Click on "Stats & Tracking" button.

  12. Select "Meta Pixel" under the Selected Content dropdown menu.

  13. Paste your Meta Pixel code into the “Meta Pixel Code” field.

  14. Select "Yes" under Activate Meta Pixel.

  15. Save your settings.

To test if your Pixel is working correctly:

  1. Select the data source you connected to your Noiseyard website from Data Sources.

  2. Go to Test Events tab.

  3. Click on "Confirm your website’s events are set up correctly".

  4. Enter your website URL to the text field and click on Test Events.

  5. Go to your website and accept cookies from the cookie consent modal.

  6. The events should appear under Events Received within 24 hours. If there is an issue, it will be noted in your Diagnostics.

When you activate Meta Pixel on your website, Noiseyard will automatically enable a cookie consent banner and display a Privacy Policy on your site to ensure compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and other data protection laws.

This banner will ask visitors for their consent before any tracking occurs, and the Privacy Policy will clearly state that Meta (Facebook) may collect user data.

Noiseyard does not store or process this tracking data; it is sent directly to Meta.

Please note that:
