Domain Name

    • What is a domain name?

    • A domain name is the address you enter into a web browser to visit a particular website. It serves as the name that people will type into the address bar to access your website.

During the free trial period, we will provide you with a generic domain name for your trial phase. It will look like this: myproject.noiseyard.com

When your trial period ends, you will be gifted a custom domain name that you can choose to your liking.

    • Can I choose my own website address (domain name)?

    • Yes, you can!

Once you start your subscription, you'll enter a 30-day free trial period. During this time, we'll provide you with a generic domain name which will look like this: myproject.noiseyard.com.

When your trial period ends, you’ll be gifted a custom domain name of your choice. You have options of selecting a new domain name or connecting one that you already own.

If you prefer, you can bypass the free trial and immediately register or connect a custom domain to your website. For instructions on how to skip the trial and choose your custom domain right away, please refer to: How can I skip the trial period and choose a custom domain right away?

    • Will I own the free domain name you register when on a website plan?

    • When you register a new custom domain through Noiseyard, we will manage the domain on your behalf. Think of it as being in our expert hands. We’ll handle all the necessary configurations, including setting up automatic payment subscriptions and ensuring annual renewals, so you don’t have to worry about a thing.

After the initial 60-day period, you have the option to transfer ownership of the domain to yourself at any time. To start the transfer process, simply contact our support team and request the domain transfer.
